ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਬਦਕੋਸ਼

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ ।। ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਹਿ ।। ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਬਦਕੋਸ਼ (dictionary) ਆਪ ਹੈ । ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸਮਝਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਸੀ ਵੀ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ (ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ) ਸਬਦਕੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਜਰੂਰਤ ਨਹੀ ਹੈ । ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਸਚੁ ਖੋਜ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਬਦਕੋਸ਼ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ । ਇਸ ਸਬਦਕੋਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ।

Dharam Singh Nihang Singh belongs to the Sikh Religion and is renowned for his comprehensive knowledge of spiritual and historical matters. He was born in Panjab in India in 1936 and comes from the Nihang tradition, which is committed to preserving the wisdom of religion. Dharam Singh Nihang Singh

is the founder of the Sach Khoj Academy, which is dedicated to the pursuit of truth and has published thousands of hours of lectures as well as numerous articles. He conducts holistic, critical exegesis of existential issues, such as what it means to be human, the nature of spirituality and religion, and our global future. In February 2015, Dharam Singh Nihang Singh was the very first speaker of the dialogue series "Religion matters – Rethinking the challenges of tomorrow". The Sikh Religion (Sikhi, Sikhism) is a monotheistic religion founded in the 15th century in northern India. Today, it has almost 25 million followers, making it the fifth largest world religion. The Sikh Religion is based on spiritual, timeless insights preserved in written form, known as Gurbani. These provide inspiration for spreading unity among people, assuming responsibility within society, abolishing discrimination based on origin, leading a virtuous, modest life in harmony with nature, and gaining spiritual wisdom.
